趁着 Memorial Day 假期加上公司的 wellness day 去了一趟黄石。五月底的西雅图虽然还在下雨，至少不需要羽绒服，但是在黄石需要。
一些感想：
- 天气预报不是很靠谱，前两天穿短袖被晒伤了，第三天突然开始下雪，幸好带着防水的羽绒服。
- 一定要住在公园里面，Mammoth / Old Faithful / Lake Village 都行，不是没得选不要住在外面。最后一天走的时候从 Madison Junction 到 West Yellowstone 一路开过去，入园方向基本都是堵着的。如果住在公园外面，每天都要花两个小时的时间入园出园，真的很浪费时间。
- 除了 bison 和 elk ，看其他动物都得靠运气。至于 grey wolf 这种动物，在运气的基础上还得有高倍望远镜，相机基本上没希望拍到。
- 公园里面吃的真的不多，晚上 Old Faithful 那边基本上没什么吃的，要么预定 buffet ，要么 walk-in 等一个小时以上。
- 各种间歇泉还是得在晴天看才好看，另外如果想看大棱镜（ Grand Prismatic Spring ）非常建议走西南边的那条 Grand Prismatic Overlook Trial ，从 overlook 那边看大棱镜效果更好。
- 想拍动物的话请一定带上至少一个 200mm 以上的长焦头。
