In 2022, we witnessed the boom in the usage of 3D-Illustrations. It’s high time we should acknowledge the visual impact of 3D elements in web design. Flat illustrations dominated the industry for almost a decade, and there is a reason for that. They are simple and consistent. But sometimes, they lack the depth of expression a brand needs to showcase to the world. I believe excellent illustrations are a sign of a unique brand identity. It makes the entire experience more memorable, making users stay on the website longer.
3D illustrations are trending in 2022, and I couldn’t be more excited about that. They are a massive help in making the user experience more immersive and interactive. As the technologies are improving with time, it is easier by the day to embed 3D elements into our web design. Therefore, in this article, I want to share with you a curated list of 3D design resources I use and recommend.

2. Characterz 2
Characterz 2 has a vast library of 3D illustrations. It has almost all the possible combinations of 3D avatars. Fully compatible with nearly all the most popular design software, for example, Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, etc.

3. Arkistudio
Arkistudio offers various packs of 3D icons that are easily customizable and can be changed in Figma. They’ve divided the group into different categories that will cater to varying types of projects, to name a few — business, finance, romance, etc.

4. Isometrica
Isometrica is a 3D illustration tool that includes over 380 isometric elements. It allows you to create stunning isometric scenes in Figma. Combine blocks, then add objects and shadows to complete the scene. Each object has two shadows to make it appear more realistic.

7. Vectary

On Shapefest, you’ll find 3d elements designed by Joseph Angelo Todaro. You can download many 3D shapes and letters in high-resolution PNG format, all for free.
9. Free illustrations
As the name suggests, find free graphics and vectors with and without copyright for your next personal or commercial project. Every week, fresh illustrations on various topics are added to Free illustrations.
10. Spline
Spline is a free design website that allows you to build 3D models and scenes from scratch while offering preset 3D designs. It can be accessed through a browser or downloaded as an app for Mac, Windows, or Linux. Spline has a Docs option for new users with a comprehensive list of how-tos. Check out their youtube channel for more tutorials. Personal favourite!
Free Figma 3D Resources
11. SALY — Figma 3D Resource Pack
SALY is undoubtedly one of the best collections of free 3d illustrations. It includes 30 hand-drawn drawings with distinct personalities. You can quickly reproduce this in Figma and use it in any of your projects.
Every designer requires inspiration from time to time. Inspiration will assist you in maintaining your creativity and generating new ideas. Aside from the standard platforms like Dribbble, Behance, and Pinterest, I’m trying my best to make this blog a one-stop drop where you can come to take your daily dose of inspiration.
