There’s a massive catalog of games coming to PS Plus soon

New games hitting PlayStation Plus in June

As many of you probably know by now, Sony introduced its all-new PlayStation Plus premium service a few weeks ago. In an attempt to counter Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass, Sony will soon offer its fans the option to choose from three different subscription tiers, specifically tailored for various tastes.

First off, those who currently pay for a PlayStation Plus subscription and want to remain on this tier will be able to do so and receive the same benefits. However, for those who want a little bit more and can afford it, Sony has prepared the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium (Deluxe in some markets).

The PlayStation Plus Extra tier will be available for $15/month and will provide all the benefit from the Essential tier plus access to a catalog of up to 400 high-profile PS4 and PS5 titles, including blockbuster hits from PlayStation Studios and third-party partners. All games in the Extra tier are downloadable for play.

Today, Sony revealed more than 50 titles for PS4 and PS5 that will be available to both PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers. The partial list of games confirmed to join these PlayStation Plus tiers is available below, but there are still a lot more coming to the service:

For even more games, PlayStation fans can go for the Premium tier, which costs $18/month and provides all the benefits from Essential and Extra tiers. On top of that, the Premium tier adds up to 340 additional games, including PS3 games available via cloud streaming, a catalog of classic games available in both streaming and download option from the original PlayStation, PS2, and PSP generation.

Also, Sony’s PlayStation Plus Premium (Deluxe) tier offers cloud streaming access for original PlayStation, PS2, PSP, and PS4 games offered in the Extra and Premium tiers in markets where PlayStation Now is currently available. These games can be streamed using PS4 and PS5 consoles, and PC. Finally, the most expensive PS Plus tier provides time-limited game trials, so customers can try select games before they buy.

Along with the list of blockbuster hits it plans to offer to PlayStation Plus Extra subscribers, Sony has also revealed some of the classics coming to the Premium tier:
