动点出海获悉，新加坡 DBaaS（database-as-a-service）初创公司 Supabase 近日宣布，获得了一笔 8000 万美元的 B 轮投资。据悉，这笔资金由 Felicis 领投，并由现有投资者 Coatue 和光速创投参投。
Supabase 在一份声明中表示，加上去年 9 月份获得的 3000 万美元 A 轮投资，该公司如今的融资总额已达到 1.16 亿美元。
针对这笔新资金的用途，Supabase 表示将主要投入团队规模的扩大。此外，公司还会持续关注自身在技术领域的创新与发展。
Supabase 由 Paul Copplestone 和 Ant Wilson 共同建立，是新加坡的一家 DBaaS 平台，可以看作是一种 Firebase 的开源替代品。它拥有一整套提供开源数据处理服务的解决方案，可以帮助手机及网页应用的开发者在无需服务器及其他基础设施的情况下开发出新的应用程序，并利用 Subabase 来管理其应用程序的数据库、身份验证、数据存储和一些其他功能。
据介绍，Supabase 在去年实现了快速增长，现已拥有 8 万余名开发者用户，且许多来自全球财富 500 强企业。如今，该平台上已创建了超过 10 万个数据库，其数量在过去 12 个月增长了 1900%。
