Question on material reservations and releases in S4 HANA
Hi experts.
Can you tell me if it is possible to :
1. Check if in S4 HANA, it would be possible to have a release key for managers to approve reservations:
a. Before they are made in SAP (MB21)
b. Or before they are served at the counter by a clerk
i. As in the case of a purchase requisition (PR)
1. Check if it is possible at the SAP role level :
a. To restrict the MB21 transaction to particular types of items; in other words, to drill down
i. If not, the only option left is to remove the transaction completely from the SAP roles of specific employees >>More likely
1. Finally, there are also "other" releases for material and the idea is to see if it is possible to send a notification to managers for these types of releases that are out of managers control.
a. Some sort of workflow that would send an email to the manager instantly when specific employees come to the counter to make this type of exit
