据路透社报道，当地时间26日，白宫公布的一份文件显示，美国总统拜登将在28日公布2023年财政预算时，提出对亿万富翁新征收最低税。文件表示，拜登的“亿万富翁最低所得税”计划将对资产超过1亿美元的家庭征收20%的最低税率，该计划主要针对美国的700多名亿万富翁。文件还称，这项税收将有助于在未来10年减少约3600亿美元的预算赤字。
报道称，2021年秋，美国参议院民主党人曾提议征收一项亿万富翁税，以帮助支付拜登提出的名为“重建美好未来”法案，但由于参议院支持不足，该支出计划未能取得进展。（中国新闻网）
