调查 Google 垄断行为的美国司法部指控搜索巨人培训员工隐藏商务通信，避免它们因法律性质的争端而披露。美国司法部称，Google 培训员工对敏感的商务通信征询律师的建议，而一旦律师参与，公司可以将这些文件视为受“律师-当事人特权”保护。司法部律师称，Google 明确指示员工通过使用虚假的法律咨询隐藏重要的商务通信文件。商务部要求监督反垄断调查的法官制裁 Google 并强迫它披露更多文件。
