AMD 的 Radeon Technology Group (RTG)部门正在招聘 RISC-V CPU/GPU 设计师开发嵌入式 RISC-V CPU，显示 AMD 正在开发基于 RISC-V 的解决方案。RISC-V 是基于精简指令集（RISC）原则的一个开源指令集架构，允许任何人设计、制造和销售 RISC-V 芯片和软件。根据招聘广告，AMD 有一个团队在开发嵌入式 RISC-V CPU，要求候选人具有高性能 GPU、RISC-V RV64 CPU、CPU 乱序执行预测执行和分支预测器相关的经验。Radeon Technology Group (RTG) 主要开发 GPU 相关产品，不开发 CPU，因此 AMD 很有可能是将嵌入式 RISC-V CPU 用于管理 GPU 上的特定功能。
