3月21日，上海市卫生健康委主任邬惊雷表示，重点区域的阳性感染者检出率比非重点区域的要高，同时有点状区域性聚集现象，目前已对阳性感染者采取隔离治疗或隔离医学观察措施。他再次对市民朋友表示感谢，“感谢社会各界、我们的市民对筛查工作的理解、支持与配合。这个阶段的筛查使我们能及时发现隐患，为后续工作奠定基础。”
