当地时间3月7日，欧洲议会爱尔兰籍议员克莱尔·戴利（Clare Daly）在欧洲议会全体会议上质问，为什么无人提及阿富汗。
说起战争，为什么都忘了阿富汗？这名欧洲议员说了大实话。
戴利表示，“乌克兰并不是唯一。自从上次全体会议以来，成千上万的阿富汗人民被迫逃离家园……但这从未被提起过，没有累牍连篇的新闻报道，没有举行欧洲议会全体会议”，“是因为他们不是白人？是因为（阿富汗）危机是来自美国的武器、美国的入侵？”
