Here’s a font based on an old Danish typewriter made in western Germany. The font designer gave it a flat baseline, but the variation in letter height and weight gives it an authentic feel.

CarbonType

CarbonType was scanned directly from an old Samsonite typewriter. If you need authenticity, you’ll find it here. The designer said there was no number one on the machine so they had to use a lowercase L instead.
