视频动漫平台CrunchyRoll今日宣布登陆Switch平台，该网站是一个提供动画、漫画、戏剧、音乐等东亚媒体流服务的国际在线社区网站。

作为世界最大级别的动漫流媒体平台之一的crunchyroll，在全球200个以上国家地区的注册用户超过1.2亿，500万以上的用户已经加入了付费会员，主营业务包括AVOD、手机游戏、漫画、活动、角色周边以及动画发布等等。
在2021年8月9日，索尼旗下索尼影视娱乐（SPE）宣布，对主推日本动画在海外发布的动漫流媒体crunchyroll的母公司Ellation Holdings的收购工作完成，总体收购金额耗资约1300亿日元。
