The purpose of every individual is to be happy. We may try to express this need in various ways using different approaches but the clue is always the same; everyone seeks happiness and the way to approach that is by caring for themselves and for the rest of humanity as well as nature and everything that surrounds them, because, all in all, as people in Eastern philosophies claim we are all One.

How to cope with problematic situations

Problems appear in many forms and the most frightening shape they can get is that of depression. Depression is like a beautiful mysterious who knocks on your door at the midnight. For sure, she will scare you at first but shooing her away will not be the best answer. She did not come out of anywhere. There is a reason she appeared in front of your doorstep. A deep down you want to let her in yourself. That is why she comes in the shape of a beautiful lady. She wants to be heard and all you have to do is listen to what she has to say. The only trap you should watch for is that you should never ever treat her as something more than a guest. If you too become too familiar with each other the woman will think she is here to stay and you will assume that her presence is important for your existence. Keep your distance and listen to your own problems showing the courage and respect you would be expecting a friend to show.

Truth and knowledge – not always on the same path

Truth and knowledge are two different things. Assuming that truth is a solid conception that exists, approaching it is hard. Knowledge does not have to do with truth itself but with finding out everything you can about it. In other words, knowledge is a process and during that process, mistakes will be done. Mistakes are another way to express what is wrong, fault, and fake. If you think about it fake things are on the other side of the complex truth tunnel that we are trying to approach. It is funny how things that seem to disconnect us from the final goal may be the only way to reach that goal. Mistakes should not be seen as a burden that holds us back from our goals but as wonderful opportunities to reach them. That is right, if we were thousands of years ago living on this planet we would not be that concerned about right and wrong. What is the reason to do it now?

Exploring the potential we have to fulfill

Every human life contains a potential that seeks to be fulfilled. If that does not happen the person feels their life has been a waste. To be happy we need to find meaning in life but we also need to find a role for ourselves. What we all basically trying to do is to find our talents and the things we adore to do and start working on them. After that, it is important to distinguish whether we are good at what we like to do because loving to do something does not necessarily mean that we are good at that also. If we can check this box as well then we have to find a way to do that and still be able to provide value to society. This is the place where we finally find our match with the rest of the things I mentioned before. It is important that the world needs our talent. When the community we are in does not need that our destiny cannot be fulfilled. For example, if someone is good at painting but the community they live in is not interested in arts this creates issues. The individual will have to figure out a way to use their talents in a way that could have a positive impact. In our case, the person could paint walls on people’s houses. No matter, what the situation we all have to find the gap that was expecting us and fill it as soon as possible.
