Ciena Corporation, a popular network specialist, has expanded their global presence with launch of the R&D centre situated in Gurgaon. The company is expected to hire over 300 product app development engineers in the next 3 years.
Job Roles:
- Collaborate in Agile scrum teams that are working on Features for management & control of the Packet Optical Devices.
- Understand need from the Product Owners or Architects in the areas of the Optical Transport Technologies (OTN, DWDM concepts, optical networks and SONET/SDH Protocols) and break in end cases.
- Fast Prototyping using latest technologies & open-source platforms
- Make Automated Test Suites to execute test automation
- Troubleshooting product problems
Mandatory skills:
- 4 to 7 years of the Software Development Experience for two Java, Scala and Python that involves Web Technologies.
- Working experience of NMS and EMS based Software systems
- Linux OS experience
- Understanding of Multi-threading and Data Structures concepts.
- Troubleshooting and debugging skills.
- Problem-Solving skills.
- Great Spoken and Written communications skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Exposure to the Microservice Architecture platforms & REST based APIs.
- Understanding of the DWDM concepts, SONET/SDH Protocols, OTN, and optical networks.
- Elastic Search & Cassandra databases
- Apache Kafka stream platform
