I have installed the syberia12 rom and would like to install the android auto and wizzard setup functions, which bitgapps version should I install?

BiTGApps don't come in different versions.

I just installed unofficial LineageOS 19.0 for herolte (Samsung S7), together with BiTGapps 44:

There's a problem that no push notifications are coming through. Whatsapp, Signal, Hangouts messages only appear when you open the app. Is it possible it's caused by BiTGapps, or is it a fault in a ROM? Or perhaps some setting I have missed..

I haven't tried any other gapps if it would behave differently.

There's a problem that no push notifications are coming through.
I fixed this already, sorry for bothering you.

It was a permissions issue, for some reason Google Play Services didn't have the notification permission!

Settings->Notifications->Device & app notifications

Should be like this:

i tried crdroid8 (a12) with bit+addon assistant but not work, there isn't from installed apps

    Guys, I need some suggestion for resolve of the issue which I've seen. I've installed the latest version (44) of the BiTGApps for Android 11, but it is impossible to restore my backup from google drive. It means SMS, call logs and apps. I can login with my gmail account and playstore works well, but I cannot see my backups to restore my data. With the OpenGaaps I can see and restore my backup data, but with BiTGApps isn't possible. Could you please give me some idia how I can resolve this issue?

    I appreciate that. I will feedback in a bit as I now need to also uninstall DPS because Android System Intelligence keeps force closing.

    I think the questions are: (now looking at DPS)


    1) BiTGApps-addon-arm64-R32_signed.zip
    if I should set to false the install option and specific component. Or leave as true. (I left the installer as true per instructions, but set the component to false

    ro.config.addon= true ro.config.dps=false


    And


    ro.config.wipe= true ro.dps.wipe=false

    2) BiTgApps-arm64-12.0.0-R44_signed.zip
    Before running the above add-on script should I be required to also run BiTgApps-arm64-12.0.0-R44_signed.zip ?
    And when run should that have the same bitgapps-config.prop inside?

    I found if I didn't run then the add-on removal script gave the error I posted.
    I did also copy the bitgapps config inside because that had the SW bits in it.
    Use the config that is shipped with R44 and you don't need to flash main package for addon uninstall.

    DPS force close, i think this requires additional support from ROM.
    I think you also need the Gearhead add on and when you have installed this...go to settings apps see all apps...the find android auto and add the nearby devices privilege...
    Thank you for your hint. I got the same information from Michael M plus the hint that in that case AndroidAuto needs an additional permission (nearby devices). After giving the permission AndroidAuto works fine at first go.
