Setting a shortcut to change auto-lock? Possible?
Jul 26, 2010
Does anyone know how to do this? I'd like to make shortcuts that set auto lock on screen to never and then one to set back.

Not possible. The best you can do is open settings at the right page.
I wanted to create a shortcut to run a backup (as I very rarely have my phone on while it's charging) but it's the same problem. My shortcut can open the settings app at the backups page, but not actually run the backip itself, hence can't be automated.

This will at least make it faster to change the setting. I just use siri to set auto lock and adjust — better than nothing..
