I’ve Been Accepted Into the MiroX Program!
Let’s get the buzz going.

I’ve been using
for some years now and I’m quite an enthusiastic advocate of the online collaboration tool. At my current company, I helped convince our leaders to buy local licenses a couple of years ago and recently it was decided that the entire corporation — operating in six different countries — will purchase enterprise licenses.Being an avid Miro champion at my office, I of course requested to join the new MiroX program some weeks ago.
Today, this email landed in my inbox:
Hi Henrik,
I’m Natalie from the Miro community team, and I want to warmly welcome you to MiroX! 🎉 We are so thrilled to have you join our community as a founding member and look forward to co-creating this experience with you.
At the start of the new year, we will be sharing an official onboarding email. In the interim, I wanted to share that you’ve been accepted into the program and get the buzz going!
(#humblebrag)
Having published two templates in Miroverse (one of which I wrote about in Bootcamp in August) I’m obviously thrilled to be part of this community!
So, what will we MiroXers do? I’m not entirely sure yet, but there are some clues provided in the welcoming email:
With MiroX status, you get to choose your level of participation. Our goal is to help you do what you love with Miro, provide a fantastic community experience, and give you the credit you deserve.
🚀 Gaining access to exclusive MiroX events with Miro’s team.
🚀 An invitation to an exclusive MiroX community Slack group.
🚀 The opportunity to host your own events/workshops for the community.
🚀 Ample opportunity to network with other Miro fans, & more!
With the risk of sounding like a fanboy (I sort of am), gaining access to exclusive events and host my own events and workshops sounds really fun.
And I actually believe this community of users can succeed where others have failed (I was part of the short-lived ”Prezi Backstage” community back in 2017/2018), simply because Miro is a very powerful tool promoted by a playful marketing and communications team. They’ve really managed to incorporate warmth and affection into the tool, and it triggers a notion of enjoyment and pleasure. It’s as if Miro is a sentient being who wants me to succeed and therefore I want Miro to succeed. Empathy design extraordinaire, in other words.
To all fellow MiroXers: What sort of community events and/or workshops would you be interested in joining? I can’t wait to plan, tailor, and host one of my own.
See you there I hope!
