特朗普的新社交应用TRUTH Social涉嫌违反开源许可 – 开源派
TPM报道：美国前总统特朗普不久前创立发布的新社交网络软件TRUTH Social，据称是与那些剥夺了他的传声筒的科技公司相抗衡，TRUTH社交平台计划11月向”受邀用户”开放测试版，并计划于明年初公开推出。
但TRUTH Social被发现是基于自由软件社交网络 Mastodon所编写。该软件遵守AGPLv3开源协议，Mastodon允许人们修改底层代码，但需要遵守开源许可，其修改后的代码必须公开。目前TRUTH Social 尚未遵守这一要求。Mastodon 创始人 Eugen Rochko 声明遵守 AGPLv3 开源协议的要求很重要，是他和其他开发者愿意免费贡献多年代码的唯一依据。目前Eugen Rochko 正在寻求法律顾问。
