搶進 PCIe 5.0 世代，Phison 發表 PS5026-E26 固態硬碟控制器方案
伺服器與高階個人電腦平台一把抓，最快在明年下半年能看到實體產品。
因應 5G 帶動新一波數據成長，Phison 針對伺服器與高階消費性市場的未來需求，發表旗下首款 PCIe 5.0 客製化固態硬碟控制器方案，型號 PS5026-E26 預定在 2022 年開始量產。
Phison 強調這個設計解決方案，能夠用在 M.2、U.3、E1.S、E3.S 等形式產品上，相當適合資料中心、雲端伺服器、電競等應用導入。PS5026-E26 結合 ARM R5 處理器與 CoXProcessor 2.0 架構設計，除了性能與低功耗兼具，同時支援 PCIe Dual Port、SR-IOV、ZNS 等功能，可以搭配最新的 ONFI 5.x、Toggle 5.x 等類型快閃記憶體。
據悉 PS5026-E26 將維持採用 12nm 半導體製程，現階段已經有工程測試樣品，預定將在 2020 年下半年開始進行量產。不過 Phison 尚未公布參考性能資訊，就介面頻寬而言 PCIe 4.0 x4 約等 7.88GB/s，Phison 次世代控制器產品可提供讀取 7GB/s、寫入 6GB/s 左右的性能。因此頻寬翻倍的 PCIe 5.0，自然是相當值得期待，只不過還需要等一段時間。
