A 31-year-old Chinese man was killed on Aug. 12 when driving a Nio ES8 in the southeastern Fujian province. He had activated Navigate on Pilot (NoP), a driver-assistance feature from Nio that offers automatic lane changes on highways. On Sunday, the Chinese EV maker told Chinese media that it is working with the authorities to investigate the accident, without revealing further details. Shares of Nio fell 4.83% as of writing in pre-market trading on Monday. [Jiemian, in Chinese]
