碳链价值APP讯，印度央行（RBI）副行长T Rabi Sankar周五在后货币政策委员会（MPC）新闻发布会上表示，印度最早会在「今年年底前」推出央行数字货币（CBDC）的初步实施模型。Sankar说：「CBDC涉及一些瞬息万变的技术和商业抉择，很难给出具体日期，但我们应该能在不久后推出一套模型，可能会在今年年底前。我们正在评估范围、技术、发行方式和验证机制等问题。」
7月初，Sankar曾透露RBI正致力于制定CBDC的「分阶段实施战略」，有望在不久后开展通用数字货币的试点。另外，在周四的MPC新闻发布会上，RBI行长Shaktikanta Das重申，央行已将针对BTC和ETH等私人加密货币在该国持续使用的担忧传达给政府，政府很快将就监管此类虚拟货币做出最终决定。（India Times）
