微软为Windows Server推出了新的支持计划
微软正在放弃其Windows Server 半年渠道更新，并转向一种新的模式——每两到三年只发布一次Windows Server LTSC。
从 Windows Server 2022 开始，微软将不再提供 Windows Server 的半年渠道（Semi-Annual Channel）版本。相反，根据7 月 26 日发布的该产品的新服务更新，未来只会有 Windows Server 的长期服务渠道 (LTSC) 版本，它将获得十年期的支持（五年的主流支持以及五年的扩展支持）。
微软官方已经表示，预计将在 2021 年下半年发布 Windows Server 2022，该产品只有 LTSC 版本。该产品已经“完成”，目前正在与 OEM 合作伙伴进行测试，并可供想要对其进行评估的客户使用。
