People are buying the Samsung Galaxy S21 by the truckload.

Samsung didn't sell nearly as many of the Galaxy S20 smartphones as the company might have hoped. While it was a fantastic phone, the high price and the COVID-19 pandemic made purchasing it an unreasonable proposition for many.

Things have improved over the last 12 months, and people are running out to purchase the Samsung Galaxy S21 by the truckload. In fact, the company has sold three times as many Galaxy S21s in the first month, which is nothing short of impressive.

Samsung Galaxy S21 Sales Figures

As mentioned, it's not really fair to compare 2020 sales figures to 2021 numbers, as the world was in a very different place when the Galaxy S20 launched. Still, it's heartening for Samsung that the new phone is doing quite well. In fact, it's not only exciting for Samsung, but it's exciting for the world as a whole, as it's a sign of a bit more normalcy. People are feeling comfortable spending money on smartphones again.

The data comes from Strategy Analytics (as reported by Sammobile) and it's specifically focused on the sales figures in the United States.

The data shows that the entire Galaxy S21 lineup is selling well, but it also reveals that the more expensive Galaxy S21 Ultra made up approximately 40-percent of the total sales volume.

Which Samsung Galaxy Is for You?

The Samsung Galaxy S21 is the current smartphone, but there's still something to be said for the Galaxy S20, which is a tremendous phone. In fact, it's still totally worth considering last year's model if you're in the market for a phone that won't break the bank as much.
