About FIXD:
At FIXD, we take the stress and worry out of car problems. FIXD detects check engine lights and breaks them down into simple and understandable terms, so drivers don't get taken advantage of when they go to a repair shop. The FIXD Sensor plugs into the diagnostic port of a driver’s car and communicates via Bluetooth to the FIXD app.

Description:
The FIXD team is looking for a Mobile Developer with strong skills in native mobile development. You would be integral to the development of our core product and to delivering an experience customers love.

Role:

  • Help build the FIXD app, used by millions of drivers to help them understand what is happening with their cars when they have a problem
  • Work with our design and product team to run experiments to test new features for the FIXD app
  • Be able to contribute to each facet of the app, including build, test, deployment, and maintenance
  • Work cross-functionally with other FIXD teams to guide our product roadmap and create a great product for our customers

Qualifications:

  • Experience in at least one of the major native platforms, Android (Kotlin) or iOS (Swift)
  • Innate curiosity and a desire to be responsible for components of the FIXD app in a small, highly focused team
  • A strong product focus such that you can design and drive the Android FIXD product forward independently on smaller initiatives (like surprise-and-delight features)

Nice to Have:

  • Experience or interest in collaborating and contributing to all parts of the tech stack
  • Appreciation for architecture and organizing code in a clean, reusable way
  • Experience in the Bluetooth stack
