Samsung continues the rollout of the Android 11 update with One UI 3.0, and today the update showed up in more regions in Europe, including more devices in Germany, Italy, Spain, Romania, Hungary, and others.

Samsung Galaxy Note20 Ultra is the top of the range device in the Note20 lineup, and needless to say, the Android 11 update is supposed to get the experience with this smartphone even further.

The last Note?

And while it’s good news that the One UI 3.0 update is now live for the Galaxy Note20, what you need to know is that Samsung is planning some big changes for Note users.

People familiar with the matter said the Galaxy Note series could be discontinued, and the first step in this regard could be made next year when Samsung brings the S Pen support to the Galaxy S series.

The South Koreans themselves confirmed some signature Note features would be brought to other models sooner or later.

“True to our heritage of staying ahead of the curve with trailblazing mobile tech, we’ll be expanding our portfolio of foldables, so this groundbreaking category is more accessible to everyone. And while we’re already known for our revolutionary cameras, we’ll never stop trying to outdo ourselves — so be on the lookout for super-intelligent, pro-grade camera and video capabilities in 2021. We’ve also been paying attention to people’s favorite aspects of the Galaxy Note experience and are excited to add some of its most well-loved features to other devices in our lineup,” it said.

While the Galaxy Note21 is still uncertain at this point, it could be the very last phablet the company rolls out, with the entire series to then be discontinued beginning with 2022, if the reports are accurate.
