Cosmos开发公司Tendermint Engineering正在开发基于Cosmos SDK的合规金融协议Cosmos Cash，由Interchain基金会资助。Cosmos Cash是符合法规要求的金融协议的一项研究项目，可以托管以法定货币为基础的代币。到2022年，预计MiCA框架生效时，Cosmos Cash概念证明将处于最小化可行产品（MVP）阶段，以通过可靠、符合法规的协议为Cosmos生态系统带来真正的流动性。另外，Cosmos已启动星际之门Stargate-6，并已发布Starport v0.13版本，默认情况下已切换为对新链使用Stargate。Tendermint表示，Cosmos Cash代币的特点将有资格成为一种电子货币（E-Money Token），包括属于一种加密资产、可作为货币和纸币的电子替代品来进行支付以及能通过锚定法定货币来保持资产的稳定。
