Building Networked .NET Applications with Akka.Remote
Akka.Remote is the most powerful of all the modules in Akka.NET. Akka.Remote is what enables location transparency, powers clustering, and paves the way for peer-to-peer serverless architectures and Internet-of-Things applications.
Akka.Remote is the foundation of all things distributed within Akka.NET, and is a module you MUST master to effectively operate a distributed system in production.

In this course, you will:
- Architect client-server and peer-to-peer applications using Akka.Remote;
- Design actor hierarchies that are designed to work cooperatively with other Akka.NET services over the network;
- Learn how to remotely deploy actors on remote processes to distribute work across multiple servers;
- Invent systems that are able to recover and mitigate common network failuires such as latency, dead nodes, and network hardware failures; and
- Have fun building applications that can do network pub-sub, multi-cast, one-to-one messaging, and more using very little code!
Course Format
Each training is delivered live, via webinar and lasts 3-4 hours long. They are taught by Akka.NET contributors who helped create the very modules you'll be learning about and are open microphone, so you can ask them questions specific to your use cases, needs, and questions.
Class sizes are limited to 10 or fewer attendees in order to make sure there's enough time to address everyone's questions.
