In this course, you will:
- Design message-driven Akka.NET applications from scratch using production-tested design methodologies;
- Integrate Akka.NET with other application programming frameworks, such as ASP.NET, WebApi, NancyFx, SignalR and more - in this training we build a full-blown persistent chatroom with SignalR, Nancy, and SQL Server;
- Write unit tests for Akka.NET actors using the Akka.TestKit in combination with popular unit testing frameworks like MSTest, NUnit, and XUnit;
- Create persistent actors using SQL Server, Akka.Persistence, and traditional repository patterns; and
- Learn how to take full advantage of the actor model and Akka.NET by using actors to isolate errors, parallelize work, and communicate effectively.
Course Format
Each training is delivered live, via webinar and lasts 3-4 hours long. They are taught by Akka.NET contributors who helped create the very modules you'll be learning about and are open microphone, so you can ask them questions specific to your use cases, needs, and questions.
Class sizes are limited to 10 or fewer attendees in order to make sure there's enough time to address everyone's questions.
