More than a year after the last event, we revived the Tokyo Rails Meetup, hosted by Cookpad!

Kenju Wagatsuma and Leonard Chin, both working at Cookpad, were our speakers this time. A big thanks to them!

Kenju presented us how his team re-architectured the front-end of a decade-old Rails application.

Leonard told us some real stories about real-life applications, related to database performance in Ruby on Rails applications.

Both talks were great! People seemed to enjoy the talks, the atmosphere, as well as the food and drinks arranged by Cookpad. I myself enjoyed the Meetup, acquiring useful knowledge, meeting with my peers…

The next Tokyo Rails Meetup (#38) is planned for January 23rd, 2019. Feel free to join us if you’re in the area!
