As a manager, it’s important to balance your style between advice-giving mode (mentorship), active listening and curiosity mode (coaching), and empowering mode (sponsorship). This course will help you know when to employ one over the other—especially when you’re managing people who work really differently than you do.
You’ll see these skills demonstrated in real time, and I’ll coach you through practicing them yourself. This course’s homework takes these skills into the real world and helps you apply them to your specific workplace and context.
