微软的 VS Code，是一款适用于 Windows、Linux 和 macOS 等不同平台架构的免费代码编辑器。由于较小的磁盘空间占用和丰富的自定义选项，其受到了相当多开发者的欢迎。 至于 VS Code 的 C++ 扩展，也包含了许多实用的功能（比如调试和 IntelliSense 智能提示）， 并且于近日达成了一个新的里程碑 —— 版本号正式升至 1.0 。

C++ 扩展已经为 VS Code 开发者提供了许多友好的功能，例如 IntelliSense、代码导航、支持重构、语义着色，以及断点、变量检测、步进等调试功能。

随着版本号正式升至 1.0， 微软 还为 VS Code 的 C++ 扩展引入了对 Linux on ARM 和 ARM 64 的支持，以及远程构建和调试功能。

为简化 IntelliSense 的配置，软件巨头还发布了一段实用的 教程 。此外为 C++ 扩展提供了丰富的格式支持，并将 Visual Studio 集成开发环境中的所有格式配置，都移植到了 VS Code 中。
