20年前，一部《泰坦尼克号》席卷全球，成为影史经典。然而，关于本片的结局一直存在争议。适逢电影上映20周年和杜比重制版将于12月在美国重映，导演詹姆斯-卡梅隆接受Vanity Fair（《名利场》）采访时表达的自己的看法——
如果Jack不死的话，电影就没有任何意义了。这是艺术创作，不是物理假想。
原来，在剧本中，Jack是主动从木板上下来，要为Rose留出更多的求生空间。所以，很多影迷认为，Rose完全可以再把Jack拉上来，两个人一块活。
