兴盛发达来自搜索引擎，饱受争议也因搜索引擎，这句话用在百度创始人李彦宏身上，应该是恰当的。4月30日，中国工程院公布了由该院主席团审定的2019年院士增选有效候选人名单。名单中，最终确定的有效候选人共531位。来自企业的候选人有114位，比2017年的90位，增加了24位。在100多位企业家中，引发舆论关注和争议最大的是李彦宏。
