5月6日，联想官微发布一篇长文，对一张流传已久的联想负面图进行了剖析和辟谣，并指出“这段信息里联想的态度成了很多人对联想粉转路、路转黑的最大原因。”联想称：所有“海外召回，中国不召回，还振振有词的拿民族主义做借口”的信息都是假的。“幸亏互联网有记忆，你只要按照时间去搜索当时的新闻，无论是歧视中国消费者，还是充满无厘头风格的‘联想说’都没有任何报道。”
