距离今年的新 iPhone 问世（应该）只有不到一个月时间，最近又有“眼尖”的朋友发现了有关新 iPhone 的情报。 9to5Mac 在苹果的应用开发程序 Xcode 10 中发现了名为“iPhone xx”的 iPhone 型号。那么 iPhone xx 具体是什么呢？
首先需要注意的是，依照苹果以往对其产品的命名规则，我们预计新 iPhone 不太可能以比如 iPhone “双 X”的名字世。“iPhone xx”或许是未公布 iPhone 的一个用以区分的替代名称。
这一名称出现在 Xcode 10 的某一处设备列表中，列表按照名称排序——注意看，iPhone 8 Plus 之后是 iPhone SE，所以并不意味排在 iPhone X 后的 iPhone xx 要比 iPhone X 更高端。
根据 9to5Mac 的报道，“iPhone xx”采用的是 A10 芯片，也就是 iPhone 7 和 iPhone 7 Plus 的同款芯片。此前有传闻称，苹果今年的新 iPhone 一共有三种型号，而其中一款将采用类似 iPhone X 的设计，但配置较低，处理器可能不会是最新的旗舰款（可能叫做 A12）。
本周有报道称 ，新 iPhone 将于 9 月 14 日接受预订，这与此前外界猜测的发布会时间 9 月 12 日相吻合。以此推算，新款 iPhone 的正式发售日期将是 9 月 21 日。另外，据传其中一款新 iPhone 会支持双 SIM 卡 。
