据 CNBC 报道，新的招聘信息显示，苹果正在开发一种专用的定制健康芯片，以处理来自其配套设备的生物识别数据。该芯片未来可能会被用来处理类似 Apple Watch 等健康监测设备的数据。
苹果设计了 Apple Watch 的 SiP（system in package）系统，以及 iPhone 上的协处理器，它们的作用是处理步数、心率等数据。 Apple Watch 甚至还包括专为特定任务而设计的芯片，这些芯片的作用是改善与其他配件的无线连接，等等。
报道还提到，除了心率和运动追踪之外，苹果还计划在未来推出更多传感器。
知名分析师郭明錤此前预测 苹果的下一代 Apple Watch 将拥有更大的显示屏、增强的健康监测功能和更长的电池寿命，但有关“可扩展的健康监测功能”部分仍然很模糊。
苹果拒绝发表评论。报道补充表示，苹果的新动作可能只是基于现有生物医学传感器的升级，而非新传感器。
