律师：英国将需要新法律来适应未来的数字英镑
据 CoinDesk 报道，Keystone Law 合伙人 Louise Abbott 表示，如果英国决定发行 CBDC，现有的数据保护、安全和反洗钱规则将需要修改。虽然欧盟选择建立新的监管制度来解决加密资产甚至数字欧元问题，但英国迄今为止一直试图通过扩展现有框架以涵盖数字资产来实现类似的目标，因此可能会对数字英镑采取类似的方法。
据悉，英国财政部和英格兰银行正在进入其数字英镑工作的第二阶段，他们将在政策和技术方面开发数字英镑模型。
