据 Cointelegraph 1 月 28 日报道，随着提交 2022 年美国联邦所得税申报表的截止日期临近，美国联邦税法的执行机构美国国税局 (IRS) 发布了一份针对处理加密货币的公众的报告要求清单。
直到 2021 年，美国国税局在与所得税相关的报告表格中使用了“虚拟货币”一词，该表格已更新为“数字资产”。所有美国公民都必须回答有关加密货币的问题，“无论他们是否参与任何涉及数字资产的交易”。
