Question 01 - It's possible to backup and restore Magisk modules?
Quastion 02 - Just to check before i go to 3.2: I'm on 2.10 encripted, the procedures to clean install: format data - wipe system - cache - system ext and install 3.2, correct?

I was a little traumatized since the last time i went to update, so forgive me.

Clean Install via TWRP:

Select Wipe > Advanced Wipe -> Select Dalvik / ART Cache, System, System_EXT, Data, Internal Storage, Vendor, Cache and then Swipe to Wipe.
Reboot to recovery once again (need due to a current issue with twrp by reignz) and then Format data > type yes.
Flash ROM, GApps.

Dirty Installation via TWRP:
Manually Upgrade/Update the ROM

Download the latest build of ROM.
Wipe System, System_Ext, Dalvik ART/ Cache, Cache, Vendor.
Flash ROM.
[Optional] If you are decrypted, Mount Vendor and flash DFE A13.
Reboot and Enjoy!

could we please add DOLBY AUDIO to this ROM?
the sound of YouTube could really use some improvement. the OOS port build on telegram has dolby audio and its sound is much fuller and louder and cleaner
Use the latest version 4 (not the NSE version). It suppose to be able to decrypt A13 encrypted ROMs like awaken.

Cannot find version 4 on the website. Was it redacted?

Is this a system_ext ROM or NSE ROM?

v3.7.0-A12 (as per Pling file-list) is not latest?

You quoting an old message. I was talking about 3.6.2 which had multiple versions.

Now there is 3.7.0 A9 and A12 System_ext & NSE.
Use the A12 system_ext it's the latest.

Hello, just updated to 3.2 and my bluetooth keeps disconecting my headset.

Is anyone else facing audio drops from the loudspeaker once every few seconds while playing any audio, even ringtones? The loudspeaker just mutes itself for a second and then continues playing.

I'm also having this problem. I thought the issue is from the sound mod that I'm using.

It happens only for my notifications and alarms.

Are you using any sound mod?

No. Clean install of just the ROM zip. Upon first boot if I go straight into Settings > Sound and play ringtones without touching any other settings, the audio drops are present. Since my initial comment, I have noticed these drops while in calls both way, where I cannot hear the caller for a second and the caller cannot hear me for a second. Furthermore while watching something, the audio is not muting but pausing along with freeze in the video.

I have since tried DerpFest and have faced the same issue. The common factor (as per my ZIP preference) in these two ROMs is built-in GApps. Finally I tried crDroid with NikGapps Core and did not face problem, and thus have settled for that ROM.

Hi, a newby here.

Currently using 3.2 version of the rom. Found few things that could be bugs.
  1. Bluetooth is not switching on automatically when tried to share using BT. Have to manually turn on the setting.
  2. Battery saver seems not doing anything at all, rather consumes more battery than saver switched off.
  3. Extreme battery saver seems to remove file storage permission from apps. (Happened in qpic and vlc)
  4. Some times pull down toggles not switching on/off when pressed (Ex: Data/ wifi)
Also may I suggest for an improvement?
  • Smart charging option would be great addition to the rom
Also can some please suggest me a good kernal for this rom or should I leave it as it is?

Yes, same here. The connection works for like 2-3 minutes and then is dropped.

Does updating through ota work when I have vanilla version of the rom installed?

OTA are only for encrypted devices

    Please can someone check:

Is 'Minimum time beetween notifications' Setting back in this Awaken version?? (Rom is useless without it for me)

To check: Go to Settings->Apps->Whatsapp for example->Notifications-> should be there at the bottom

If not: @REIGNZ3 Will it ever come back?
