Proterra 透露它的一辆电动巴士 Catalyst E2 Max 创下了电动汽车单次充电的行驶最远距离纪录——1772.2 公里。这辆电动巴士配备了一个巨大的电池，容量达到 660kWh。1700 公里远远超过了巴士一天行驶的平均距离。这一纪录可能有助于说服运输部门抛弃内燃机转向电动汽车。Proterra 最近还和中国电动汽车制造商比亚迪宣布向 UPS 提供短途电动卡车。
