群晖（Synology）刚刚推出了三款NAS新品，其中两款为双盘位、另一款为单盘位。DS218play专为多媒体应用而优化，DS218j定位于价值之选，而DS118则主打性能。与一个月前发布的DS418play一样，DS218play可以应付4K/30fps的视频内容编码传输。其采用了四核@1.4GHz的RealtekRTD1296处理器、板载1GB运存、最高支持24TB容量（双盘位）。
