认知心理学家平克（Steven Pinker）对社会心理学有过这样的批评：为什么社会心理学得不到更多尊重？⋯⋯这个领域总是不厌其烦地坚持一些肤浅理论，因而使自己停滞不前。
自从卡尼曼（Daniel Kahneman）荣获2002年诺贝尔经济学奖之后，不少心理学家红着眼杀入认知偏差研究领域当中。无数论文不断证明，人类的确不擅长决策，认知偏差很多，简直是一群思维漏洞百出、被实验任意摆布的小白鼠。真不知道，他们能进化到今天，是撞上了怎样的大运？
