美众议院、参议院预算委员会批准2018财年预算解决方案。参议院之后将就预算案进行投票。如果预算案在参众两院通过，这意味着共和党人触发了一个叫作预算调整程序（Reconciliation）的立法程序。在预算调整下，共和党人可以以51票的简单多数在参议院通过税改，而不需要常规的60票。
