韦伯太空望远镜遮阳板问题可能导致发射再次延期
美国政府问责局公布的韦伯太空望远镜最新报告称，望远镜存在的多个技术问题，加上测试和整合，以及格鲁曼（Northrop Grumman）的工作进度比计划的慢，按日程表发射不太可能实现。NASA 计划在 2019 年 6 月使用 Ariane 5 火箭发射韦伯望远镜。报告列出的问题包括了望远镜的遮阳板在测试中出现问题；去年承包商发现推进器 16 个阀门中的 8 个的泄漏超过可接受水平，但原因没有查出，格鲁曼认为最有可能是技术人员出差错导致的，但整个调查以及对阀门的翻修又导致工作延期了几个月的时间。为了赶进度，格鲁曼公司现在采用了 24 小时的三班制。如果有更多技术问题出现，延期发射将是不可避免的。
