【财新网】（驻华盛顿实习记者 蒋梦婕）当地时间10月3日，美国下令驱逐15名古巴驻华盛顿大使馆官员，因驻哈瓦那的美国官员遭到“神秘攻击”，而古巴未能尽到保护义务。
美国国务院官员称，国务院提供了一个15人的名单，这些古巴官员必须在七天内离开美国。国务卿蒂勒森（Rex Tillerson）强调，做出该决定是因为古巴未能有效保护美国外交官，并不是指责古巴发动了攻击。美国继续和古巴保持外交关系，并将继续与古巴合作调查此事。据最新版美国“外交名单”，古巴大使馆有26名经认证的古巴外交官。
