So conflicted with this phone right now.

Got a Pixel already, but losing the ability to listen to music and charge my phone is like 80% of my working day. That coupled with Google's smug: "Same old headphone jack!" dig at Apple in last year's advertisements really annoys me, now they've completely followed suit.

On the other hand, I love my Pixel, the camera, and it'd suck to have to change.

Does anyone know if there's a difference between the Pixels purchased in the US over Europe in terms of bands? Until now they all look similar...but I just want to make sure before I order one.

Does all of them include support for Umts/Hspa bands: 850 and 2100?

Will the pixel XL get the new home screen featured on the pixel 2 XL?

Nope. Not buying expensive Bluetooth or usb-c headphones, and I'm sure as shit not upgrading my car stereo just to accommodate my phone. Also not buying a clunky adapter. I love my pixel, but fuck everything about taking away the headphone jack.

Curious as to why, at least here in Australia, the Pixel (1st gen) is still listed as full price, exactly the same price as the Pixel 2...

On the G Store? Brick and mortar started running $100+ discount limited offers three months ago.

Loving the Pixel 2 XL, but having trouble deciding on that or the V30 to replace my aging Nexus 5X.

Pixel 2 XL has the uncluttered software I want (and presumably an unlocked bootloader), but the V30 has everything else (DAC, headphone jack, potential band 71 support down the road). Tough choice.

I'm on Project Fi now and I'm happy with the service but if I end up with a V30 and it doesn't play nice with Fi, then it'd be hard to justify staying.

Exactly my problem....to replace a 5X do I go with the LG V30 with a Headphone jack and a Micro SD card? or the Pixel 2?

In Australia - I have a contract with Telstra who have given me a free upgrade option after having my pixel for one year as long as no damage is found after an in store inspection

Where did you buy it? Isn't the Pixel 2 blocked from store.google.com in the NL?

One more thing I would have loved to see from the Home (and I'll have to check to see if maybe they just added it without announcing) - let me use it at work! It doesn't work with networks where you have to log in with a username and password.

Here in the UK, Providers are charging a premium for google devices :(

Yet The V30 is £47.99 a month which is the same price as the Pixel 2 XL

All on the same plan 16GB Data, Unlimited calls and Texts.

What network is that with? EE are 57.99 a month but only 8gb of data?
