I would be curious if there is a way to access the PVC and run some benchmarks? Google has indicated TF access at some point.

One thing people might not realize but the Google code name for the PVC is Easel.

What's the significance of this?

Not really anything for consumers, IMO. But it would be for developers to use and provides some info on how it might be possible to access the chip.

Problem is going through the files there is only the code and little other documentation.

I am curious how you send instructions and what are the instructions that are supported.

Ultimately Google has indicated TF will be able to access and that would make things far easier to utilize the chip.

Google has shared 3 trillion operations a second and I was more curious what are the operations supported and what is the word size and what types supported. Since it was not written as FLOPS I suspect it might be like the first generation TPUs and use integers. The Apple AI chip is similar as written as 600 billion operations a second.

BTW, I do think the chip is important to help with some future proofing of the phone. Wish the same chip was in my Pixel Book.
