Bigma

A new way of showcasing your portfolio

If you want to showcase your portfolio in a way that no one has ever done before, look no further than the Bigma approach: portfolio-as-a-canvas.

Hello product makers,

I'm Binh Pham, the guy behind OpenTicker and TheStartupPlace.

Recently, I hit a dilemma where I need to build a cool portfolio site, but with an approach that nobody has thought of before.

While designing my site on Figma, I thought to myself. Why not just build Figma itself and show my projects as designs on a canvas?

It turned out to be a cool approach that no one has thought of before. And it's cool to use and share as well.

@binhpham love this small project vibe. What is your roadmap looking like?
@adityavsc some new features for even more interactivity in the next 3 months (like live games for people logging at the same time) => then if there is enough traction and interested users, I'll release a platform where everyone can make their canvas-based portfolio. Kinda like Rooms but for portfolios.
Bigma introduces a novel idea with its advantages and considerations. I will definitely explore it. Congratulations on the launch!
Congratulations on introducing the Bigma! How does this approach differ from traditional portfolio presentations, and what inspired the development of this innovative concept? I'm intrigued to learn more about its features and benefits!

@umar_saleem Thanks Umar, glad to hear that you're intrigued! In my vision, a portfolio shouldn't just purely show content, but it should be interactable as well. The implementation of interactivity not only shows the personality, but also the skills of the developer.

I think that's the biggest difference. Also, in an infinite canvas, there is infinite possibilities (eg: you can zoom and move endlessly so someone can make a storytelling portfolio like prezi)

That's why I thought of portfolio-as-a-canvas. A creative and scalable option for everyone to have an interactable portfolio that shows their personality. Kinda like rooms.xyz but for portfolios.
