Meeting Recorder for Product Teams

Sort by:

Hello everyone! 👋

6 months ago, I quit my Head of Product role to go all in and build ListenUp!

I was leading the product team at lemlist, a bootstrapped SaaS doing $22M in ARR with 99% of its revenue coming from product-led growth (PLG). A strong product culture and a dream for a lot of product teams - it was for me.

But one thing drove me nuts during my 3 years at lemlist: product discovery. It was so time-consuming.

We were constantly overwhelmed by feedback: from users, from support, from sales, from C-level, from partners... We manually transcribed our user calls (and half the time, the audio didn’t record at all). We were fighting between spending time delivering features and talking to users. We had no clue how many users reported the same problems.

That’s only the tip of the iceberg - a nightmare 😅

I met with close to 100 Founders, CPOs, Heads of Products and Product managers to see how they managed that. The short answer: they didn’t.

So, I took a crazy bet: fixing product discovery.

The first block of product discovery is user interviews. So in the past few months, we’ve focused on building the user interview process I dreamed of having.

1. A seamless meeting recorder The video and audio of your calls are recorded at the source. This means, you can safely use headphones, the audio will be recorded. No bot joins the call - it’s just annoying, awkward and users don’t feel comfortable, so they don’t say the full story.

2. An automated flow Each meeting recording is automatically transcripted with one of the best AI transcriptions and added to your ListenUp! Inbox. From there, you can access AI summaries and share the recording with your team.

3. A knowledge base of your users From the inbox, you can highlight the transcript to create user insights. Then, in the “insights” tab, you can create patterns to identify the next problems you should focus on next. All insights and patterns can be embedded in your favorite product delivery tool to have everything in one place. (Notion PRDs, Linear issues, Figma files ..)

Happy discovery ✌️
