苹果史上最大Air平板！iPad Air 12.9英寸保护壳上架
快科技4月22日消息，苹果即将在5月推出iPad Air系列新品，包括10.9英寸和12.9英寸两款，其中12.9英寸将成为苹果史上最大的Air平板。
目前，第三方壳厂已经在亚马逊电商平台上架了12.9英寸iPad Air的保护壳，等待苹果新品开售。
据悉，12.9英寸iPad Air将采用iPad Pro同款的Mini LED面板，这种面板采用直下式背光方式，可以被视作普通LCD屏幕的升级版。
Mini LED技术将传统LED背光灯珠缩小，实现更为精细、密集的背光分区，并配合Local Dimming的控制，提高亮度和对比度，从而提升视觉观感。
值得关注的是，相比传统LCD，Mini LED成本大幅上涨。以苹果12.9英寸面板为例，iPad Pro所使用的显示屏配置了10000颗Mini LED和2596个分区。相较于同样尺寸的传统侧入式背光LCD，iPad Air的Mini LED成本约提高了3.7倍。
因此，12.9英寸版本的iPad Air价格将会大幅上涨，这将成为史上最昂贵的Air平板。
